Pressing cancel on a bonus destroys the bonus funds. That is the ordinary effect of the button. A cleared deposit is a different bucket when the cashier shows it as a separate number. Players who see one combined total and press cancel are often looking at a display that has not split the buckets yet. The bonus disappears. The deposit remains only if the cashier was holding it apart and the button’s own copy says so. Guessing from the size of the total is how a cash-out attempt deletes the wrong figure.
A cleared deposit can sit in another bucket
Open the cashier and find the lines before you press anything. One line should name bonus funds, another the withdrawable or cleared deposit, and sometimes a third the wagering left on the bonus. The cancel control is attached to a specific line. Read that line twice. If the only number on screen is a blended balance, do not treat the blend as proof that the deposit is protected. Look for a breakdown, or ask the cashier text which amount the cancel action removes. A progressive jackpot credit that has already cleared is not bonus money, but it can still sit next to a bonus on the same screen.
Read the number the button will take
Wagering that is unfinished will usually block a withdrawal of the bonus itself. Cancelling is the path that gives up the bonus in order to reach a cleared deposit, when the rules allow that path. It is not a way to keep both. After you press it, refresh the cashier and confirm the bonus line is zero and the deposit line is unchanged. If both dropped, stop and read the transaction record before you deposit again. A new crypto transfer will not restore a bonus you just cancelled, and it may arrive with a new bonus attached.
