Read a slot paytable as stake, feature cost, max win, and the loaded RTP

Four paytable lines describe a slot without any need for its story. First, the stake: the amount one spin debits, including any ante that multiplies the spin if you switched that ante on. Second, the feature cost: the price of a bonus buy if the button is present, written as a multiple of stake or as a currency amount, whichever the panel shows. If there is no buy, write none. Third, the max win: the cap printed for this game, usually as a multiple of stake. Fourth, the RTP line of the file that actually loaded. Studios ship more than one file. The line inside the help screen is the one this casino opened.

Four lines, in that order

Walk them in that order every time you open a new online slot. Stake tells you the debit. Feature cost tells you the optional extra debit. Max win tells you the published ceiling, which is a cap, not a debt the game owes you. The RTP line tells you which math file you are on. Do not type a percentage from a review, a studio brochure, or another casino’s screenshot. If the help screen has no RTP line, write that it is missing. Inventing the figure is worse than leaving the line blank. The same discipline applies to a progressive jackpot slot: the meter is extra information, not a replacement for the four lines.

Copy the RTP string from the file on screen

A useful note is four short entries and nothing about the characters. Stake 0.40 with ante off. Feature cost 100 times stake, or absent. Max win as printed. RTP as printed, or not shown. Those entries let a later session compare like with like. They also stop a demo result from being pasted in as if it were this file. The paytable you can open from the game, on the real-money client, is the source. Anything you cannot point to on that screen does not belong in the four lines.
